What is Progressing Ballet Technique?

PBT is an innovative body conditioning and strength-building program that prioritises muscle memory development through ballet-specific exercises. It trains core
stability whilst furthering knowledge of correct weight
placement and proper alignment.

PBT enhances not only dance but is used by sports therapists for effective rehabilitation.
PBT is suitable for all ages, it is ideal for dancers, athletes and those who would
like to improve posture, core strength and body alignment.

PBT requires many pieces of equipment to carry out the exercises safely.
Some of these include:

- Large Exercise Balls
- Small Fusion Balls
- Yoga Mat
- Resistance bands
- Massage balls (where necessary)

Whilst Indy Motion provides all equipment for class, each student is more than welcome to use their own equipment in class.
